Day 285 of the Holy Bible One Year CHALLENGE. Jeremiah gives a tough message: God's gonna make nations drink a "cup of wrath" that'll mess them up. Then, Jeremiah's words get him into trouble, and he's put on trial for saying the temple would be destroyed. But he sticks to his message, and some people actually stand up for him, so he's not killed. Paul tells the Thessalonians that nobody knows when the "Day of the Lord" will come; it'll be a surprise. So, they should stay awake and sober, wearing faith and love as armor. He also gives quick advice like: be joyful, pray a lot, and say thanks in all situations. He wraps it up by asking for prayers and telling them to greet each other warmly. So basically, be ready, be good, and love one another.
