  • 120: Reprogram Your Mind for More Success + Happiness in 2025!
    Dec 16 2024

Are you ready to make 2025 your most epic year yet? Because I sure am, and I’m about to share the secret to turning your dreams into reality!

As we close out 2024, I want you to ask yourself: Who are you living for? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ Think about it—why do you do what you do? What drives you? Let's make sure you’re not just going through the motions, but living for what truly matters to you. Whether it’s personal or professional, get clear on your WHY! ✨ Once you know, promise me this: Show up every single day for the next 365 days and fight for that thing that matters most. You’ve got this! 💪

But here’s the kicker: Don’t get too attached to the outcome. I know it sounds wild, but trust me on this—detaching from the results is the key to making magic happen. 💫 It’s like when I went to this mind-blowing business event where we did a guided meditation and tried to bend a spoon with our minds. 😱 (I know, it sounds crazy—but it was SO powerful!) The trick wasn’t focusing on bending the spoon, but letting go of the need for it to happen. And guess what? When I stopped trying so hard, it bent! 🤯

It’s all about being present in the journey, not obsessing over the destination. When you detach, the universe works in your favor—floodgates open, and amazing things happen that you couldn’t have planned for! 🌟

Now, I know life can throw curveballs. But when things don’t go as planned, don’t take it personally. The second you spiral into negativity, you lose your power. Keep things neutral, learn from them, and keep going. Your success isn’t determined by setbacks—it’s how you show up after them. 🏆

So here’s your challenge for the upcoming year: Reprogram your mind for success, happiness, and the most incredible year of your life. You ready to go all in with me? Let’s make 2025 a year like no other. 🎯

    Let’s do this! ✨🔥

    Nov 25 2024

Are you feeling that little itch—the one telling you it’s time to take a step, make a move, and shake things up? Oh, friend, you are not alone. 🙌

In the latest episode of Do Life Big, I sat down with the incredible Kelsey Smith, a powerhouse entrepreneur who’s no stranger to massive change. 🌪️ Kelsey’s story is wild—from juggling three littles under five (yes, THREE!) to leaving behind a 10-year career that no longer lit her up, she’s a walking, talking lesson in trusting yourself and stepping into the unknown.

She reminded me (and now I’m reminding you):
👉 The answers you’re looking for? They’re already within you.
👉 You don’t need to figure it all out at once. Just take the first step.
👉 Trust yourself—your inner voice is never wrong.

Real talk: Entrepreneurship, life pivots, or even just navigating your next big decision can feel terrifying. But as Kelsey shared, every step forward, even a small one, is a win. And when you stop looking for external validation and start tuning into your own voice—oh man, the magic happens. ✨

💡 Key Takeaways from the Episode:
1️⃣ Burn the Boats: Sometimes you’ve gotta let go of the safety net to truly soar.
2️⃣ Quiet the Noise: Turn off the distractions, grab a journal, and listen to YOU.
3️⃣ Get Help: Whether it’s a mentor, a coach, or someone to watch the kids for an hour, lean into support—because you can’t do it all.

Kelsey Smith is a mom to three under 5, married for 8 years, a serial entrepreneur, and lives in Charlotte NC. She's here to help you STAND OUT on social media. • 116: 6 Steps for Breaking Free from Overwhelm
    Nov 19 2024

Quick question: ever feel like life’s throwing everything at you, all at once? Like you’re running around with your head spinning faster than a hamster on a wheel? 🐹💨 Yep, I’ve been there too.

That’s why I couldn’t wait to share this email with you. It’s time to crush that overwhelm and take back control—together! 🙌

Here’s the deal: overwhelm isn’t a life sentence. It’s just your mind and body waving a giant “SLOW DOWN” sign. 🛑 And trust me, pushing through isn’t the answer. Your body’s not a machine (even though I know you hustle like one 😉). It needs some TLC—and I’ve got just the toolkit to help.

The 6 Steps to Breaking Free from Overwhelm

Ready to take a breather and regroup? Let’s dive in:

1️⃣ Breathe. Seriously, when’s the last time you stopped to take a big, deep breath? In through the nose, out through the mouth. Just a few breaths can slow your heart rate and melt away that anxious feeling. 🌬️

2️⃣ Do one thing at a time. Forget the 40-item to-do list. Focus on the ONE thing that matters most right now. Trust me, your list isn’t going anywhere. You’ve got this. 💪

3️⃣ Prioritize & simplify. Every night, pick just three must-dos for the next day. Circle them, highlight them, whatever. Keep it simple and stay focused.

4️⃣ Say “no” more often. Stop trying to please everyone. It’s okay to say, “Let me think about it,” or even a polite, “No thanks.” Permission granted to prioritize YOU. 🙅‍♀️

5️⃣ Do more of what you love. Remember joy? Bring it back. Whether it’s a beach walk, a good book, or a solo dance party in your living room, carve out time for the things that light you up. 💃🌊

6️⃣ Journal it out. Got a storm of thoughts in your head? Get them out of there! Write it down, read it back, and decide if it’s really worth the mental space. Spoiler: most of it isn’t. 📝

    Overwhelm Is Temporary, My Friend

It doesn’t own you. You’ve got the power to hit pause, regroup, and tackle life one step at a time. And hey, we’re in this together. 💕

So, grab those six steps, keep them handy, and the next time overwhelm tries to sneak in, you’ll be ready to shut it down like the boss you are. 👊

  • 115: Overcoming Fear and Embracing Growth
    Nov 14 2024

We all know that nagging little voice that tries to convince us to stay in our comfort zone. You know the one—it’s that “little inner critic” telling you, “Nah, you can’t do that. It’s too scary.” Yeah, that voice. I like to call it the “little b*tch voice.” 😅 But here’s the deal: if you’re going to Do Life Big, you’ve got to learn how to conquer that voice and step into the life you deserve.

Your brain is wired to keep you safe, to keep you comfy. But everything you’ve ever dreamed of? It’s sitting right on the other side of that fear. 🏔️ Will Smith said it best: “God put all the amazing things in life on the other side of fear.” And guess what? Everyone experiences fear. It’s not just you! The difference between staying stuck and living your best life is learning to push through it. 💥

When you feel fear creeping in, that’s not a sign to run—it’s a signal that you’re on the edge of growth. 🙌 Imagine it: the sweaty palms, the racing heart… that’s your body saying, “Hey, you’re about to level up!” So next time your inner voice whispers, “Don’t do it, it’s too risky,” what do you do? Do it anyway. 🚀

I recently had the chance to apply to speak at my kids’ school. My gut reaction? “NO WAY.” But guess what? I submitted the form. And yeah, I’m still waiting to hear back, but the point is, I acted despite the fear. That’s how we grow, my friend.

    So, What Now?

Recognize that your inner voice will always try to keep you safe, but it doesn’t tell the truth. Next time it says, “Don’t start that project” or “Sleep in, you can work out tomorrow,” do the opposite. That’s how you reclaim your power and show that voice who’s boss. 💪

And hey, if you need a little extra help rewiring those thoughts, check out my free workbook: “Think This, Not That.” It’s packed with tips to switch out limiting beliefs for empowering ones.

  • 114: Why Change Feels Hard and How to Break the Cycle
    Nov 4 2024

Today, we’re talking BIG change energy—why it’s so hard to break out of old habits, and what we can do to create the change we actually want. If you’ve ever wondered why it feels like an uphill battle to start (and keep) those life shifts going, this episode’s made for YOU!

Here’s the deal: changing our ways isn’t just about commitment; it’s about how we see ourselves deep down. We get stuck because our brain wants to stay consistent with our self-image. (Ever found yourself saying, “Well, that’s just who I am”? 🧐) But here’s the kicker: You are under ZERO obligation to be the same person you were five minutes ago.

Imagine this: every belief you’ve held, every habit, every “this is just who I am” moment—it’s all changeable. Yes, really! The episode dives into how we can reframe those thoughts and shift out of old cycles. Think of it as giving your brain (and your life!) a makeover.

    Here’s what’s coming your way:

    • The Commitment & Consistency Principle: Why we hold onto beliefs about ourselves and how they influence our actions. It’s WILD how this shapes us!
    • How small changes in our beliefs can unlock massive potential.
    • Real talk about cognitive dissonance—and why it might be why you feel stuck.
    • A pep talk (from me to you 🫶) to encourage a little healthy self-reflection on who YOU want to be moving forward.

We’re all about breaking free and designing our future selves! So if you’re ready to stop unconsciously following the script and start owning your story, hit play now. And hey, let’s take on this challenge together—one new belief at a time.

Can’t wait to hear how you’ll show up for your future self after this one. 🚀
