As we are told by God to pay much attention to the book of Colossians… did you know your faith is only as strong as the depths of your roots in Jesus? The Lord says, its message in Colossian’s is deeper than you have perceived and My Spirit will make that letter come alive to you.” Yes, all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Jesus, every pearl of wisdom you and I have or ever need in life, are available to you because of your union with Christ Jesus. In Chapter 4, the Lord wants us to know that we also need to be careful of whom we pull to our bosom as a close friend. In other words, are your friends, in close union with the Lord as you are…who can have a tremendous impact in your life and ministry for the good and not for the bad? Church, it is imperative that we live with Integrity and that God is God and Jesus is Lord no matter what!

The book of Colossians is perhaps the most Christ centered book in the Bible. In the 2025 message we were told, pay much attention to Paul's letter to the Colossians, for its message is deeper than you have perceived and My Spirit will make that letter come alive for you. Paul was determined to write a letter of exhortation and encouragement to try to counter all these false teachings that were everywhere. Pastor Kennedy stated, “It is incumbent upon us to do just that. We need to take a deep dive into the letter. It's important that we know what the Bible teaches, that we're teaching the Word of God and not teaching and hearing false doctrine.” The truth of the gospel and legalism has always been a problem when no matter how free we are, we end up being legalistic about our freedom with some kind of control. YOU need to know that Jesus is the ONLY One who can set you free!

Warning to the Church – “don’t be ignorant, evil will spread and cause many people to stop loving each other, and wherever love is absent, coldness will move in”. As stated in Philippians 2, “do nothing from selfishness or empty conceit but with humility of mind regarding one another as more important than yourself.” The question is how does Jesus Love YOU? Is Loving like Jesus impossible for you? For us to attain to an unselfish love, for His Grace, is always available to empower us to do whatever it is He has called us to do. Think on this… the Christ in you, the Hope of Glory can enable you to do that if you are willing to let Him do the work in you. Remember, your behavior affects somebody else – a selfish heart, creates a cold heart. As a Born Again Believer of Jesus Christ we have a moral responsibility to care for each other.

Church the question is asked, are YOU more thoroughly convinced, like the ‘prophets of old’ who bore witness to what God has said in their supernatural lifestyle and testimonies; or are you believing and saying what ‘man is saying’ that is not of God? Remember, Faith Always Wins - because believing, and walking out our calling is what God Himself has destined for us in these end days - don't let your carnal thinking rule your life, or wishing God would hurry up and answer your request, or quench the Spirit by being disobedient. In The Old Testament there are 90 different references and mentions of the Holy Spirit and in the New Testament there are 260 times that He is mentioned, so you would could say basically the entire Bible talks about the Holy Spirit.

In the Bible the Lord tells us that it's the Holy Spirit who actually wrote the Bible, yet people don't want to pay any attention to the Holy Spirit who is actually mentioned in scripture from Genesis 1 to the end of Revelation.
