  • Join Richard Lawton of the Australia Independent Film Festival as he talks everything television with Drew Jarvis one of Australia's most recognized executive producers on television, Drew Jarvis – July 2022.

    Drew is currently the executive producer of children’s content for Network 10, and has had a long career writing, developing and producing content for young audiences in Australia. As a sound mixer, Richard has worked with Drew on a number of projects, and was keen to talk with him more to gain some insight into his producing techniques, and find out what brought him to this position in the industry.

    We’ll talk about the similarities between kids’ content and indie filmmaking, some tips on fostering a great atmosphere on set, what Drew would do as a new creative in the current media landscape in Australia, and some advice on how to go about pitching your projects for funding and acquisition.
