Genesis 44:18 Then Judah came near to him, and said, Oh my lord,
let your servant, I pray you, speak a word in my lord's ears, and let
not your anger burn against your servant: For you are even as
    Pharaoh.
Genesis 44:19-23 My lord asked his servants, saying, Have you a
father, or a brother? We said to my lord, We have a father, an old
man, and a child of his old age, a little one, and his brother is dead,
and he alone is left of his mother, and his father loves him. You said
to your servants, Bring him down to me, that I may set my eyes on
him. We said to my lord, The boy can’t leave his father: For if he
should leave his father, his father would die. You said to your
servants, Unless your youngest brother comes down with you, you
will see my face no more.

    פ ָּר שַׁ ת וַׁיֵּשֶׁ ב
    Vayeshev
    “And He Dwelt”

Genesis 37:1,2 And Jacob dwelled in the land wherein his father
was a stranger, in the land of Canaan. These are the generations
of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock
with his brothers, and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and
with the sons of Zilpah, his father's wives: And Joseph brought
to his father their evil report.
Exodus 12:40,41 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who
dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years. And it came
to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the
selfsame day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went
out from the land of Egypt.
Genesis 37:3,4 Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his
children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him
a coat of many colors. And when his brothers saw that their father
loved him more than all his brothers, they hated him, and could not
    speak peaceably to him.

and cried to Him, and he had power over the Angel and overcame

Romans 13:11,12 And that, knowing the time, that now it is high
time to awake out of sleep: For now is our salvation nearer than when

    “Sarah’s Life”
    Genesis 23:1-25:18
    1 Kings 1:1-31
    John 4:3-14

Genesis 20:1,2 And Abraham journeyed from thence toward the
south country, and dwelled between Kadesh and Shur, and
sojourned in Gerar. And Abraham said of Sarah his wife, She
is my sister: And Abimelech king of Gerar sent, and took Sarah.

Genesis 23:3,4 And Abraham stood up from before his dead, and
spoke to the sons of Heth, saying, I am a stranger and a sojourner
with you: Give me a possession of a burial plot with you, that I may
bury my dead out of my sight.

Hebrews 11:13 In faith died all these, not having received the
promises, but from afar having seen them, and having been
persuaded, and having saluted them, and having confessed that
strangers and sojourners they are upon the earth,

Ephesians 2:19 Now, therefore, you are no more strangers and
foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and of the household
    of God,
While Abraham was considered a stranger and foreigner among the
Gentiles, those Gentiles who come to the faith of Abraham were no
longer to be considered strangers and foreigners to the God of
    Abraham.
