    About the Episode:

Exploring the World with National Geographic - This discussion focuses on Lindblad Expeditions, a leading expedition travel company, and its partnership with National Geographic. The conversation explores the company's history, unique offerings, and the experiences it provides travellers.

A Legacy of Exploration - Lindblad Expeditions has a rich history, dating back to the 1950s when founder Lars Erick Lindblad pioneered expedition travel. The company was the first to take tourists to Antarctica in 1966 and the Galapagos in 1967. Lindblad's mission was to introduce people to the world's natural wonders in a responsible manner, ensuring the preservation of the planet for future generations. The partnership with National Geographic began in 2004, a natural collaboration between two organizations with shared goals. Both Lindblad and National Geographic sought to bring people closer to remote destinations and wildlife.

Diverse Destinations and Unique Experiences - Lindblad Expeditions offers a wide range of destinations across six continents, with over 120 itineraries to choose from. While known for its cold-weather expeditions in Antarctica and the Arctic, the company also offers voyages to warmer destinations like the Galapagos, the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, Vietnam, and Egypt. Lindblad also offers a variety of unique activities, including hiking, kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling, and even the opportunity to drive a zodiac.

Book with Orit by Dec 30th, 2024, and receive a $100 per person shipboard credit on any Lindblad-owned ship voyage.
