Three more games left until we crown a champion!

With the Orange and Cotton Bowls on the horizon this week, John Buhler (Staff Writer, FanSided.com) and Cody Williams (Content Director, FanSided.com) previewed the big games between Penn State and Notre Dame, and Ohio State and Texas.

Any of these four teams can win the College Football Playoff, but Cody and Buhler see eye-to-eye on who is getting to Atlanta in a week and change.

They also touched on Ryan Grubb being out in Seattle, Wes Goodwin out in Clemson and Ryan Walters going to Washington to replace Steve Belichick as Jedd Fisch's defensive coordinator.

The guys then finished the show by sharing some of their favorites and least favorites from the coaching cycle that has finally come to a stop.

False State ceases to amaze me. How about you?

  • Episode 140: College Football Playoff semifinalist power rankings, Would Steve Sarkisian leave for the NFL? Branch Brothers to Georgia
    Jan 6 2025

Reach out to Cody and Buhler to tell them what's up!

Would Steve Sarkisian really mess with Texas?

As John Buhler (Staff Writer, FanSided.com) and Cody Williams (Content Director, FanSided.com) got ready for the upcoming College Football Playoff semifinals, rumors started to circulate that Sarkisian would draw interest from NFL teams.

We saw the NFL briefly court Marcus Freeman, but to no avail.

Sarkisian leaving for the NFL would not only re-open the head-coaching carousel, but would put Texas between a rock and a hard place in 2025.

Also, Georgia was able to land Zachariah and Zion Branch in the transfer portal.

Just when you thought the college football season was about to wind down, False Start has more steam than a locomotive coming down the track, brother!
