  • Everyone Loves a Mug Rug

    This week the girls talk all about smaller projects. Rochelle also shares a very scary story about Ellie (her dog). Leslie gets a chance to go to the Inauguration and ultimately was not able to go. She is thankful since the weather is going to be tragically cold. Leslie cleaned her studio and trimmed some things. She also started a small project that is helping her get her sew-jo back. Rochelle started starching her new Hundred Acres quilt. Finally hear about the shows that they are watching while stitching. This week is a fun episode that you can stitch and laugh to!

  • A Tough Start to 2025

    This week's podcast is dedicated to the memory of Matthew Lee Applegate, the girls' friend Jeanne's son who passed from this life to his eternal life in heaven on January 3, 2025. The girls have their friend, Cara joining the podcast to talk about the hard week they have had, but also talk about losing sew-jo and trying to find it again. Rochelle gives some great tips on how to get it back! This week's episode is a good one and will have you laughing and crying. While off to a tough start, the girls are encouraging each other to find ways to move through it.

  • Tis The Season for Consumables

    Leslie is still deciding about her Bernina. She also has uncluttered her room. They talk about the Countdown to Christmas box from Missouri Star. While Leslie has been using all the things, Rochelle has been using some, but is also giving some of hers away. Construction in Leslie's area is so bad that Rochelle took forever to get to her house and now has a big plan to get home in the dark with Christmas cheer. Lyla got her Grinch quilt and also has a chance to meet the Grinch. Rochelle is preparing for sinus surgery and will have to learn how to breath out of her nostrils instead of her mouth. You won't believe what she is having to do to prepare! This is quite an episode! Enjoy!

    The girls talk Thanksgiving this week and do a recap of their retreat. They also talk about Leslie's addiction of Hallmark movies. You won't believe how this has evolved into a major problem for her. This year both girls received the Countdown to Christmas box and Leslie started talking about an idea to send Christmas cards to their folks. It is a hard time of year for those who have lost loved ones, so it's our opportunity as quilters to rally and do something kind. Thank you in advance for sending cards!
