• The Church of England Christmas Rave-Up
    Dec 20 2024

Revs with a difference Thomas Pelham and Jamie Franklin sit down to talk about the biggest issues of the day in church and state. This time:

    • The Marc Geuhi rainbow armband controversy!
    • Our thoughts on Only Fans actress Lily Philips having relations with a hundred men in a single day.
    • And Church of England dismay at Liverpool Cathedral hosts drug-fuelled football club rave, further calls for the resignation of senior bishops over historic safeguarding failures, and the Bishop of Newcastle asking for a "pause of evangelism".

That, our favourite Christmas hymns and much more as always!

  • A Step Closer to the Abyss - with Rod Dreher
    Dec 6 2024

Church of England revs with a difference Jamie Franklin and Thomas Pelham sit down to respond to the biggest story of the week, the progression in Parliament of the Assisted Suicide Bill, leading the UK a significant step closer towards the legalisation of state-sponsored euthanasia.
They are also joined by author and journalist Rod Dreher to talk about Rod's new book Living in Wonder: Finding Mystery and Meaning in a Secular Age. Rod talks to them about recovering a sense of the presence of God and visceral meaning in the context of disenchanted Modernity, how to promote Christian orthodoxy to a generation more interested in the occult than Christ, how Christian enchantment differs from paganism, how attention changes the spiritual life, and, of course, UFOs!
All that and much much more in this very special episode!
