India Iman Hernandez-Hervey is an Industrial Engineer, model, actress, musician, and writer originally from Atlanta, Georgia. She holds a degree in Industrial Engineering with a concentration in Econ & Financial Systems from Georgia Tech and is pursuing her Green Belt, a technical certification in Lean Six Sigma methodology. Her tech experience began in Silicon Valley in the Manufacturing/Supply Chain space with Tesla motors. There she focused on building a robust manufacturing system and process design within large business units, allowing her to succeed at maintaining high levels of efficiency across her various project solutions. Her experience in the entertainment business, however, began at the young age of 2 being the daughter of a very successful model. India wrote her first book in the 7th grade, practically grew up in a music studio where she leaned heavily into instruments, and earned her first speaking role at 6 years old. Always remaining passionate towards acting, modeling, and philanthropy, India purchased a one way ticket to New York to focus on her dreams in the entertainment business full time. She ran for Miss World America in 2019 to kickstart her non-profit organization, The Beauty Sector. The organization’s purpose is to combine the ideals of beauty with STEM for young girls of color. After completing feature films and joining the fit modeling industry, India sought out stability which brought her to her present day life here in LA and the ability to have access to all of her desires whether technical or creative.
