    Uvalde native Kimberly Mata-Rubio shares how the horrific tragedy at Robb Elementary spurred her to become a gun violence prevention advocate. Learn how her determination to tell her daughter Lexi’s story continues to guide her on her journey to affect change.

    We then meet community advocate and retired teacher Jesusita Rios. Jesusita shares how she overcame systemic challenges and used what she learned to help others navigate and advocate for themselves.
