  • Ep. 543 Ricardo Lopez
    Jan 7 2025

Boy have we got a doozy of a weirdo for you for our first episode of the year today, dear listeners. Ricardo Lopez was a dude that just wanted one thing. But he wanted it really, really badly. And he obsessed over it. Then he found out the thing he wanted, that he was never gonna get anyways, wasn't gonna happen (shocker). So he did the only natural thing. I'm not gonna spoil what it is, so you're gonna have to toon in and hear all about the weirdness. Enjoy!

  • Ep. 542 Vasily Stalin
    Dec 31 2024

Happy new year, dear listeners! Today we're going evil adjacent to talk about the spawn of Josef Stalin, one of the worst humans to ever exist. His son, Vasily Stalin, isn't nearly as bad, but he is comically inept and his life was a lot of fun to make fun of. Turns out the apple can fall pretty goddamn far from the stupidly mustached tree. Enjoy!

  • Ep. 541 James Devereux
    Dec 24 2024

Happy Hanukkah, dear listeners! And I guess Christmas too or whatever. Anyways, we have a fun treat for you today, James Devereux. Who despite having a name like a Confederate general, was a dude who found himself on the right side of history. Starting with being in charge of the defense of a little known island in the Pacific that may or may not have had some impact on the war effort. And he pissed off the Japanese something fierce, which I'm always a fan of. Then he did a couple things after the war. So get ready for the full story, and enjoy!

Dan Carlin, but significantly less respectable.

Laughed so hard at the Thomas Cochrane episode that I forgot I was cooking a pork chop and it got burned worse than Joan of Arc....

Horatio Nelson would be the perfect subject for an episode. The man was so bad ass and was basically a walking meme.

You guys are awesome, and I will consider contributing to your Patreon once I financially recover from that catastrophic loss of pork chop.

Amazing, especially if you're a bit twisted

Stumbled across this while looking for war heroes stories, liked the style and then checked the other, less wholesome, episodes; turns out this is my favorite podcast.
These two fat bastards have a great sense of humor and do a pretty respectable job when it comes to research.
Totally recommend it, just be careful on which episode you want to start with and, for the love of God, wear headphones.

As for requests, see if any of the following specimens strike your fancy: Salvatore Riina, Junio Valerio Borghese, Irene of Athens.

Great entertainment

Gets me through my work day. pretty well researched and they put up with me bugging them on social media about minuit points they may have missed. Hearing their labored breathing and burping is just extra
entertainment.

Hilarious if you're dead inside

These two sacks of human vomit are actually pretty funny, if you don't mind laughing at other people's trauma and horrible events... which is fine by me. So I threw y'all 5 bucks since you lazy bums can't upload more than 2 episodes at a time and I need entertainment at work.

PSA: Don't forget to hit pause if you're going thru a drive thru or you might get some weird looks when they hand you your food.

9 out of 10 doctors recommend this podcast!

If you're looking to laugh, cry, get excited, take pity, get depressed, hate yourself or others, or just need to see how lucky you really are, just look at Jacob and Tim! If you want a bad ass podcast about crazy ass people, give this a listen because you won't regret it!

Yall Have to do one on Marquis de Sade!! Probably the worst dude in history, and you two could do his story justice. Or make us all regret it.... Either way!

Keep it up!! Yall are awesome!

Be careful.

Be careful on which episode you start with, some are wacky, some are informative, and some are down-right disgusting. But, all are entertaining.

Absolutely Amazing

In a very roundabout manner, this podcast helped get me a gf. So cheers yall! Anywho, this dynamic duo of fat and artery-clogging humor is perfectly conducive to what I wish my life was. They're hilarious and tell stories about the best and worst in history. Their latest episode over the Hollywood shootout was super well done. I've been listening on and off for years now. These guys are a great comedic pair and dread the day they become successful and can no longer continue the show. Thanks for the amazing content ya'll produce. PS- Eric, yes you. It's your brother Derik. Thanks for showing me this show years ago.

History and Comedy go Great Together

Always great learning about some of the most hardcore warriors to ever live or unfortunately learning about the most vile scum to ever walk the earth that somehow always live to long and rarely ever get their due but none the less if your looking for a great blend of humor and history and don't take things to seriously then this is the place for you.

PS. I'd like to Recommend Xaihou Dun

Fun, Family Friendly, Educational, and Inspirational

This podcast has provided me with countless laughs with friends and family. Im comfortable recommending this podcast to anyone and everyone such as classmates, little cousins, or even your boss or teacher. The hosts are incredibly professional and love interacting with their audience.

I'd love to see them cover Wayne Nance (Jacob might enjoy this) and/or Hiram Berdan (maybe this would be a better Patreon)

Excellent Podcast (as long as you’ve got a twisted sense of humor)

These guys are hilarious and deeply inappropriate. Fairly historically accurate but they don’t let the facts get in the way of telling a good story and getting a laugh. For God’s sake, don’t learn about Richard Chase if you ever want to sleep again. Otherwise, they’re all safe…ish.
