She has founded the Tenneil Hurvey Foundation entitled "Never Surrender" in memory of her son Tenneil who passed away by suicide at age 16. The pain remains great, but by openly discussing prevention and awareness, Sondra assists other families affected bt the same grief. She reminds everyone to remember and never surrender.
