    James is the CEO/Founder of Business Accelerator Institute and Perseverance Squared where he is a business consultant with a strong background in law. He launched his first business in 1994 and rapidly expanded to multiple top-performing locations reaching $8M in annual revenue. In 2014, James transitioned to coaching, guiding over 350 business owners to significant growth through strategic management and marketing. As a fractional CEO/SLFU Program Manager at How To Manage a Small Law Firm, he launched Small Law Firm University, growing it to $3 million in revenue within a year, and developed a CMO program that generated an additional $2 million annually. In October of 2023, James launched Perseverance Squared, a cutting edge consulting business for forward thinking business owners followed 6 months later by the Business Accelerator Institute to help professional service providers such as doctors, dentists, CPAs, lawyers and more transform their business and their lives. Simultaneously, with his adult children, James has launched Welcome Home Legacy Holdings, a real estate investment business with a business plan to achieve $100 million in assets within 10 years.

    James received a Business degree from Lindenwood University in 1989 and JD from St. Louis University in 1993. He was admitted to the Missouri bar in 1993; the US District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri in 1994; and the US District Court for the Southern District of Illinois in 1995. In 2009, James was selected as one of America’s Top 20 Premier Experts, for which he was featured in the USA Today, The Wall Street Journal and Newsweek. James is a recognized industry expert in business and co-author of the best-selling book Shift Happens, which provided a review of the then escalating economic recession. He was featured on the St. Louis radio show “The Next Big Thing,” and was the live on-air legal expert for St. Louis radio personality Niecy Davis from Foxy 95.5. James was voted “St. Louis’ Best Attorney to Have on Your Side” in 2008 and “Bankruptcy Lawyer of the Year” in 2010. These are just afew of the numerous accolades for his legal expertise and business accumen.
