Pastor Jeffrey Walter

By: Christ Academy for All Nations
  • Summary

  • Pastor Jeffrey Walter is a firm believer in the fact that faith ought to be reasonable, and that man cannot come to genuine faith except through the process of reason and the genuine practise of what is to be believed. It is his vision to see a Christianity that truly changes man and practically produces in him love for the Lord and the neighbour: which will undoubtedly lead to the transformation of society.

  • Seeking Truth, Making Idols
    Dec 30 2024

The pursuit of truth is fundamental to spirituality. Thus, the quest for truth forms an integral part of a man’s spiritual journey. But what really is the truth? Is it what the majority believes to be true? Is it what serves man’s selfish desires (interests)? How can man accurately seek and perceive the absolute truths that must form his doctrine? What should guide him in this vital quest?

In this message, "Seeking Truth, Making Idols," Pastor Jeffrey Walter teaches on what must guide a man in his pursuit of truth. He points out the danger of drawing strength from what the majority believes to be right and shows how God uses the minority to preserve truth with a church (generation). He goes on to explain the four (4) spiritual states that men may experience in their spiritual journey. He also reveals how the man who seeks truth with an evil heart ends up falsifying the truth (makes idols). He concludes that the state of a man's heart (i.e. affection for truth for the sake of righteousness or lack thereof) is crucial in determining whether or not he finds, accepts, and patterns his life after the unadulterated truth of who God is and how He ought to be worshipped.

This message will open your eyes to how easily men can decline spiritually, and empower you with the right mindset and purpose to pursue truth.

Note: This message builds on from a previous message, “Faith in God”, which was preached on Day 1 of the November 2024 Special Program. Kindly listen to this message for further clarification on the making of idols.

    Theme Passage: John 8:39 - 45 KJV

39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham. 40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham. 41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God. 42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me. 43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

    Key Scriptures: Mathew 5:8 KJV

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

    Isaiah 28:13 KJV

    John 7:17 KJV

“If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.”

  • The Pursuit Of Eternal Life
    Dec 8 2024

The intimate knowledge and revelation of God to man is not the preserve of a special group of people. All men are called to know God, and to live the kind of life He has willed for us as an inheritance: Eternal Life. If only we are willing to persevere and fight in pursuit of this, we will surely lay hold of it.

Pastor Jeffrey Walter, in this Holy Communion message, “The Pursuit of Eternal Life”, explains what eternal life is, and describes practically what constitutes this kind of life. He goes on to reveal what it means to know God (i.e., to have eternal life) and how a person comes to the spiritual knowledge of God. Finally, he admonishes that this kind of life is attainable by all. By using examples from his own life, he inspires the spirit of perseverance and encourages that it is never too late to begin one’s pursuit of the spiritual knowledge of God and the eternal life (inheritance) He has promised each of us.

    Key scripture: John 17:1-3 KJV

[1] These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee: [2] as thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him. [3] And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

    John 3:16 KJV

[16] For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

    Other scriptures: John 1:1-3; John 8:30-32; John 14:15-18, 21- 23; Matthew 5:8; 1 John 4:7-12; 1 John 5:11; Romans 2:6-7; Matthew 19:23-26; Hebrews 6:12; Luke 11:13 [All scriptures in KJV]

  • 04 TSC Nov 24 Kumasi | The Spirit Of Sonship
    Dec 1 2024

Men are destined to be co-laborers with God, that is, serving as vessels that can contain and express/manifest His presence. In order for this to be realised, man must abandon his will (desire), understanding (thoughts) and actions. Subsequently, he must allow God (the Divine) to take absolute control of them so that God will be expressed through him.

In this November 2024 Special Programme, Pastor Jeffrey Walter demonstrates why consecration is critical to knowing the one true God, in order to be joined to Him (the Vine) and serve His purpose according to His prescribed way. Through our spiritual training, we become well-aligned to operate as co-labourers with Him, by the Spirit of Sonship.

In this episode, “The Spirit of Sonship”, Pastor Jeffrey Walter demonstrates how all men are called to the ministry. He explains how the spirit of sonship comes upon a man who diligently labours in doctrine (the Word of God in the natural) and gives himself to the Lord's training. He unveils how a man can perceive truth through revelation by faithfully adhering to these processes.

Furthermore, he details the two categories of works and finally elaborates on the two ways the Holy Spirit comes upon a man: as the firstfruit and as the harvest.

May you receive grace to labor diligently in doctrine that you may be ushered into the spirit of Sonship. Quench not the Spirit!

    Theme Scripture: John 5:19-20 (KJV)

19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.

20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel.

Other Scriptures: John 12:49, Ephesians 1:17-20, Romans 8:23, Romans 1:4, John 16:12-14 [All Scriptures in KJV)
