By: Real Talk Christian Podcast
  • Summary

  • Marc Hyde and Chris Fuller are real Christians having real conversations on faith, culture, and society. Real Talk Christian Podcast started as a local church teaching ministry to provide biblical answers to the world that Christians find themselves in, but the podcast quickly grew to global ministry. Here, you’ll find conversations around theological topics, practical living, and stories from Christians who are striving to have real conversations around both everyday and difficult conversations. Each episode is designed to feel like you’re sitting down with two of your favorite friends. Generally, the first 15-20 minutes of each show is full of laughs, banter, and fun conversations before jumping into the episode’s content. This is designed to help you feel connected with the hosts, bring joy to your life, and provide great answers to your questions.

  • Christ Has Come (The Incarnation): Christmas Day Advent Reading
    Dec 25 2024

This week, we are reflecting on the fifth and final advent candle: The White Candle, symbolizing that Jesus is here! The word advent means “coming” or “arrival” and speaks of Jesus’ arrival that first Christmas morning in Bethlehem. The season of Advent is a time when we joyously and prayerfully anticipate the celebration of Jesus’ first coming. And, we look forward to His second coming, while also affirming that He is present in the world today offering His redeeming love to anyone who will simply receive it. One of the most beautiful symbols of the Advent season is the traditional Advent wreath. This Advent wreath is intended to help us keep our focus on the real reason for the season – the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Each Sunday leading up to Christmas, we will be talking about a different candle – representing, in order, hope, peace, joy, and love – although we usually light these candles in our homes, we obviously can’t do that on the podcast, but we will still talk about the candles as a way to remember each week in the advent season. Thank you for joining us this year during Advent Season! Incredible! This podcast keeps me on track with my faith

Even as a twelve year old boy, this podcast keeps me on track with my faith. Enabling me to grow and learn more about our culture, God, and overall believes. Before this podcast I struggled to find time in the day to read my Bible and study God’s word. Now I listen to your podcast, read my Bible everyday I am able, and grow in my faith as much as I can everyday. Thank you for the encouragement and knowledge I needed to grow in God’s Word.
