• THE ATTITUDE IN WORSHIP PSALM 40:1-11
    Jan 27 2025

This week’s session focuses on AUTHENTIC WORSHIP: Authentic worship is a genuine, wholehearted response to God, grounded in spiritual truth and devotion. A positive attitude fosters gratitude and hope, removing distractions and self-focus. This receptive heart enables deep communion, guided by reverence and trust. By maintaining hope, believers transcend challenges, stay anchored in God’s goodness, and enter truly transformative, God-centered worship.

Introduction:Today’s point is that we are to come to God with a heart fully focused on Him alone, because our attitude determines whether we experience authentic worship or simply go through the motions. When we approach God with gratitude and reverence, we open ourselves to a deeper, transformative encounter with His presence.

I have 3 points to make this session:

    1. Rejoice in What God Has Done (Psalm 40:1-5): Pause to remember God’s mercy and deliverance, offering joyful praise for His faithfulness.
    2. Be Regimented to Do God’s Will (Psalm 40:6-8): Align your daily actions with His Word, choosing obedience as an act of worship.
    3. Be Ready to Declare God’s Praise (Psalm 40:9-11): Boldly share God’s works with others, testifying to His goodness and grace.

While I unpack today’s scripture I ask that you consider this question: How can I cultivate authentic worship?

  • THE INSPIRATION FOR WORSHIP PSALM 25:4-15
    Jan 25 2025

This week’s session focuses on BEING GRATEFUL. Gratitude is the sincere acknowledgment of kindness or blessings received. Human gratitude often depends on specific actions and is expressed conditionally, while God’s way calls for continual thanks, rooted in faith and trust, regardless of circumstances, as an act of worship and acknowledgment of His sovereignty.

Introduction: Today’s point is: God’s goodness and love lead us to grateful worship. Through Psalm 25, we will see how God’s character inspires our trust and heartfelt worship in response to His compassion, care, and faithfulness.

I have 3 points to make this morning:

    1. God Is Full of Compassion // Psalm 25:4-7 God’s mercy and love lead Him to guide, teach, and forgive us, calling us to worship Him with gratitude.
    2. God Has Overflowing Care // Psalm 25:8-11 God lovingly instructs and leads those who humbly seek Him, inspiring grateful worship for His unfailing guidance.
    3. God Faithfully Keeps His Covenant // Psalm 25:12-15 God honors His promises, blessing and protecting those who fear Him, leading us to worship Him in trust and thankfulness.

While I unpack today’s scripture I ask that you consider this question: HOW DOES GOD INSPIRE ME TO GRATEFULLY WORSHIP HIM?

  • PURPOSE EXPRESSED GALATIANS 6:1-10
    Jan 23 2025

This week’s session focuses on LIVING OUT your purpose by RESTORING OTHERS. HOW DO WE EXPRESS OUR PURPOSE IN CHRIST BY SERVING OTHERS? We live in a society that is all about “Me, Me, Me. I’m gone get mine. I don’t have to do it if I don’t want to. I got mine, so you get yours. We don’t put family first - only 30% of young adults want children, We don’t care about our neighbors, community service is down to 27%. That’s their busy. I got problems of my own. I, I, I. Does any of this sound familiar to you?

The point of today’s lesson is: WE FULFILL OUR PURPOSE AS WE SERVE OTHERS IN LOVE.

I have 3 points to make this morning: Be aware of Warring Purposes Inside // Galatians 5:16-18

    1. Our purpose leads us to share the Load
    2. When we love, we sow the spirit
    3. It won’t be easy so stay the course.

While I unpack today’s scripture I ask that you consider this question: HOW DO YOU EXPRESS YOUR PURPOSE IN CHRIST BY SERVING OTHERS?

  • PURPOSE ABANDONED PSALM 8:1-6; 14:1-7
    Jan 23 2025

This week’s session focuses on how sin keeps us from living out our God ordained purpose. Reflect on an instance that you allowed sin to draw you away from God’s purpose for your life. What did you do, say, or think in response to your experiences? How do you think these experiences impacted your life?

The point of today’s lesson is that GOD CREATED US WITH PURPOSE, BUT OUR SIN KEEPS US FROM LIVING OUT THAT PURPOSE. I have 3 points to make this morning:

    1. Created For the Purpose of His Glory
    2. Corrupted by Our Purposes
    3. Deliverance from Zion

  • Looking forward to Expectations
    Jan 8 2025

Today’s POINT IS; JESUS WILL RETURN TO BRING US INTO HIS KINGDOM. This lesson reminds us where our hope should rest. As Christians, our expectations are grounded in the promise of His return, when He will fulfill God's plan of redemption and bring us into His eternal kingdom. This truth shapes how we live today, encouraging us to stay vigilant, faithful, share the gospel, and anticipate with joy the day we will be with Him forever.

LOOKING FORWARD IN WORSHIP MATTHEW 2:1-11,16-18

Today’s POINT IS; Jesus is Lord and He deserves our worship. The lesson reminds us that we can know the love of God because of Jesus' sacrifice. During the Christmas season, we see this love in the gift of His Son, humbly born in a manger to bring hope, salvation, and redemption to the world. Christmas calls us to reflect on this incredible love, receive it, and share it with others through grace and compassion.

I have 3 points to make this episode:

    1. The Heavens Declared Him // Matthew 2:1-6
    2. The Prophets Foretold Him // Matthew 2:7-8,16-18
    3. Our Eyes Behold Him // Matthew 2:9-11

  • Looking Forward to Peace ISAIAH 8:20–9:7
    Jan 10 2025

Today’s POINT IS; WE HAVE PEACE WHEN WE HAVE CHRIST, All Hallmark Christmas Movies have perfect endings. We love them because they give us a warm peaceful feeling. These stories of challenge, always end with everyone finding true love and peace. But perfect endings and peace are hard to come by in reality, We all long for Peace. Perhaps that’s why we continue to watch for those cheesy movies, no matter how predictable they are. Today’s lesson is about the season of Advent. Advent is rooted in a broken world, full of injustice. People of that time waited for the one and only Creator to step from glory into this war-torn world to offer us what we all long for, everlasting peace.

I have 3 points to make this show:

    1. Peace Alludes in Darkness // Isaiah 8:20-22
    2. Peace Comes in the Light of the World // Isaiah 9:1-5
    3. Peace Comes through the Prince of Peace // Isaiah 9:6-7
