  • Season 20 Ep 09: Stop being too humble
    Jan 7 2025

We see a lot of conversations on the internet where people talk about the importance of being humble. They say being humble will take you places, BUT, they forget to tell you that being too humble won’t take you anywhere.

There is a thin line between being humble and being too humble. The difference is big. One can take you to great heights, meanwhile the other can prevent others from knowing about you.

In the current world we live in, we should be the marketers of our own talent. People are often busy with their own lives. They won’t be able to see your potential unless you show them what you’ve got.

We’re not telling you to be arrogant or be a show-off. There is a thin line between telling “I can do it” and “I am the only person who can do it.” Always go for the first option.

Let’s get into the conversation and take a look at what happens when you’re being too humble.

  • Season 20 Ep 5: Accountability is a hell of a drug!
    Dec 3 2024

Accountability is a game changer! It’s super humbling yes… BUT it removes the shame from your choices and circumstances.

Accountability is the ability to take responsibility for one's actions, decisions, and behaviors, and to accept the consequences

But why is accountability so hard?
It's largely because we aren't very good at admitting when we've made mistakes. It sucks!

In fact, scientifically, our brains will naturally do whatever they can to justify our actions so that we feel better about our decisions.

The LACK of accountability is when we fail to accept our own shortcomings and mistakes. Is that YOU?

  • Season 20 Ep 4: We all judge! Let’s be honest
    Dec 3 2024

Yes, almost everyone judges others at some point. Judging is a natural part of human behavior and instinct that's difficult to suppress. Here are some reasons why:

    • It's easy: Judging is simple and doesn't require much thought or reasoning.

    • It's automatic: Our brains are wired to make automatic judgments about others' behaviors.

    • It's evolutionary: Early humans needed to quickly assess threats and opportunities in their environment.

    • It's based on scripts: We make judgments based on pre-programmed mindsets or scripts.

What are some things you judge squad? Drop it in the comments.
