Anita, one of the many pirates attacking the HMS Dawnbreaker, picks up the drive, and makes her way toward the ship’s cargo hull in order to do some plundering. She’s met with considerable difficulty as the elite infantry, Nova’s, attempt to stop the attack.

Jazmin “Jaz” Izuro pursues a lucrative bounty on Mars, but ends up stealing information from a mysterious man that could lead to a treasure beyond her imagining.

Jaz discovers Ishmael Adibigo’s escape cruiser, along with the drive and strange crystal. Before she can celebrate, Genoa and Alejandro catch up to her, and she’s forced into a dogfight against poor odds.

After narrowly escaping from Genoa and Alejandro thanks to help from the Firefox, Jaz boards the legendary ship, and reveals some of the truth to the crew. They drop her off at her uncle’s, Switch, and along with his apprentice Tane they try to fix W.I.T.
