  • Ben Kirby with PreachersNSneakers: Prosperity Pastors, Celebrity Christians, and Mega Churches
    Aug 16 2021

Ben Kirby is the creator of PreachersNSneakers. What started out as a joke post on Instagram quickly became a hot topic in the Christian sphere. Ben posted a picture of a worship team and the shoes with the price tag of $800. Ben started questioning if this is the best way to do church. He wrote a book titled "PreacherNSneakers: Authenticity in an Age of For-Profit Faith and (Wannabe) Celebrities". He calls into question prosperity preachers that want to become celebrities with huge churches. Ben talks on the show today about pastors that are promoting themselves, political parties, and church brands rather than the gospel.

  • The New Apostolic Reformation Hersey
    Jun 22 2021

Welcome to TableTheology! Today we discuss a Hersey in the church. This movement has been under the radar and people also turn their heads away, due to things this movement produces like music, events, and books. The church needs to be aware of this movement and call out the heretical teaching that it produces. We hope you enjoy it!

  • Greg Boyd: Christian Nationalism
    May 10 2021

Today on Table Theology, we have Greg Boyd. Greg Boyd is a pastor, theologian, and author. He has written on many subjects, but the one he is well known for is Christian Nationalism. We discuss the issue of Christians putting their faith in their nation, rather than putting their faith in God. How God and Nation should not be married together. We should instead be ambassadors of Christ to the world and represent the Christ's Kingdom.

    I hope that you enjoy!
