  • An Incoming-Senator's Hope To 'Disrupt' Washington
    Dec 26 2024
Republicans open the new year with control of Congress and a laser-focused legislative agenda on cutting government spending. President-elect Trump is hopeful that with control of both chambers, they can pass tax cuts and border security measures and use the newly minted DOGE department to roll back government waste. Senator-elect Tim Sheehy (R-MT) joins the Rundown to discuss the importance of confirming President-elect Trump's cabinet picks, working to cut government spending, and what the transition to Washington D.C. will be like for his family. As 2024 approaches, the Rundown looks back at the year's best interviews. After a very tight presidential election, President-elect Donald Trump will return to the White House in January. The state of the economy remained a top issue for voters throughout the election cycle. Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris promised to improve things for the everyday American. Kevin O’Leary, chairman of O’Leary Ventures and star of ABC’s Shark Tank, joined in October to give his take on both candidates' policies, how the markets prepared for either candidate winning, and why getting inflation under control has proven so difficult. Plus, commentary by orthodox rabbi, lawyer, and digital strategist Sam (Shlomo) Bregman Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

  • A New Take On The Christmas Story
    Dec 25 2024
The story of Jesus Christ has been told and retold for centuries, but a new FOX Nation special looks to tell the story from a new lens. Jesus Crown Of Thorns takes a look at the politics of the time of Jesus and the turmoil that engulfed the life of the savior and his disciples. Associate Professor in the Classics at the University of Iowa, Professor Robert Cargill joins to discuss the story of Jesus and the strife that faced the Apostles. As 2024 approaches, the Rundown looks back at the year's best interviews. Was it divine intervention or just sheer luck? Pennsylvania pastor Glenn Germany walked away unscathed following an unusual attack during routine Sunday services back in May. The pastor stared down the barrel of a gun during his sermon after twenty-six-year-old Bernard Polite claimed God told him to enter Jesus' Dwelling Church and shoot him. The commotion was live-streamed on the church's Facebook page, leaving parishioners stunned. Germany joins the Rundown to talk about the incident and how it led him to be closer to God. Plus, commentary from Pastor Robert Jeffress of the Dallas First Baptist Church. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Simply and informative way to get my news

This is a straight and simple forward for getting my morning news while on the move - it’s clear and straight to the point and a great way of getting the news on what’s happening around the country and world. Highly recommend. Especially for those of the 20-40 age range.

Fantastic

I don’t have time to watch the news anymore. I don’t have enough interest in liberal slanted politics of other radio broadcasts. This program is excellent, a quick summary of what I need and want. Well done!

Feels a little like I'm listening to MSNBC

I am searching for comprehensive, educational world news with a little deeper dive and a neutral perspective. It strangely seems as if the presenter is taking an antagonistic approach to conservatives and doesn't sound neutral at all. I haven't decided if I want to continue follow.

To many advertisements !

Stories are informative, performers are fine but the number of ads that play are ridiculous. I get tired of listening because some of the ads are as long as some of the stories. If I wanted to listen to that I would watch TV.
