  • 836: I Set These Boundaries, and My Life Transformed – Yours Can Too
    Dec 18 2024
If there’s one lesson I’ve learned in both work and life, it’s this: you HAVE to protect your peace. Your energy, your focus, and your happiness all depend on it. But here’s the thing—protecting your peace doesn’t just happen on its own. It requires intentionality, courage, and the willingness to set boundaries that honor your time, values, and priorities. But let’s be real, boundaries aren’t always easy to define or enforce, especially when you’re juggling a business, relationships, and personal goals. That’s why in this episode, I’m sharing the boundaries that have helped me show up better—at work, for my family, and most importantly, for myself. These boundaries are tried and true – really, nothing has changed since this episode originally aired in 2022! Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed or just need a reminder to prioritize your well-being, this conversation is your permission slip to say “no” more often and “yes” to the things that truly matter. life changing

It is no exaggeration when I say this podcast changed my life. After being laid off from my dream job of marketing director in 2020, I felt lost. It was in this slump that I decided to bet on myself and put my COVID assistance money into creating my own business. As we all know millions of women left the workforce in 2020 and most likely became the emergency childcare for their children. This was my story, homeschooling my 2yo, 4yo, and 8yo during the day and grinding into the wee hours of 4-5am on my business. Cue Jenna Kutcher, there is nothing more inspiring than being a new entrepreneur listening to successful entrepreneurs talk about their early 24/7 grind while you, yourself are living that grind. Honestly, without this podcast, I'm not sure I would've made it. I was TIRED, stressed, and stretched thin. But here I am 3 years later with a thriving 6 figure business and I am just so grateful. I'm so grateful to Jenna and her team and all the guests that share their stories. Ok, this sounds like an award acceptance speech 🤣😂 but getting to this space really is so rewarding. Thank you Jenna!!🙏❤️

My new go to!

I love hearing about such a variety of things, even if I can't relate to something I still don't mind hearing about a topic!

My favorite business podcast (as a Very small artist)

I Love this podcast. I'm a new listener and am only on episode 30, but even 7 years later these episodes are So relevant and So helpful as I'm working on finding my footing as a new small artist/entrepreneur. (I truly think this podcast has helpful advice for anyone and everyone, Jenna is so sweet and so encouraging it's like having a personal cheerleader). <3
