I love this podcast
For anyone wishing that you could audit a favorite Literature course or instructor, this is the podcast for you. Mr. Miller showcases a wide range of genres and finds an interesting professor or other author or subject matter expert to interview for each book he features. Listening to this podcast has definitely expanded my horizons and has stretched me to read books and authors I might have bypassed otherwise - from Nathaniel Hawthorne to Agatha Christie to Ray Bradbury - differing genres and classics - and now thoroughly enjoy. It has also given me fresh insight into some of my favorite books. The episodes on Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings and Dante are particularly good, but it is hard to pick any favorites. I can’t recommend it highly enough. My friends and book club members have become used to hearing me preface a sentence with “I was listening to The Great Books Podcast and . . .” Thank you J. Miller!

Hell no.
You cannot complain about what public schools are teaching (and both Hillsdale and The National Review do so repeatedly) and then review William Buckley as the author of a "great book." He was barely a talk show host and certainly not a great author of anything but partisan hackery. Waste of time and way too much pretense, even for me. Hard pass.
