Derrick Ross, a trainer at Adaptive Training Foundation served as an army engineer from 2006 to 2014. After being injured in 2011, he served several more years. He joins David and Christian to share his story with the Medevac Podcast community.

Dave Reid and Christian Meyer welcome Gabriel Diaz De Leon to discuss his military service and his life after his injury including rehabilitation and pursuing new goals. In 1984 Gabriel sustained a spinal cord injury while deployed to Honduras with the US Army. After rehabilitation, he was introduced to sports and has since competed 5 time on the US paralympic team and medaled 8 times including a gold medal in 1992.
