    “Fascia is the interface of spirit animating the pattern of the matter of us,” says Joanne Avison, who returns to the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to explain that, despite what we’ve been taught, the body is not bio-mechanical and made up of three layers, but a series of spiral designs—including the heart that is the first thing to appear at conception and shape the unique individuals that we all are. We are, explains Joanne—movement specialist and practitioner and bestselling author on the topic of fascia and fascia anatomy—a liquid crystal matrix that is connected to and interacts with the larger liquid crystal matrix around us.

    Thinking of our bodies this way means debunking the benefits of popular methods and practices—such as stretching and yoga.   • EP 107: Mitochondrial Poison & Breaking Free From The Prescription Paradigm

    “Statins are prescribed like they’re candy—they’re not. They’re mitochondrial poison,” says Francisco Gutierrez, MD, allopathic trained physician specializing in internal medicine, who joins the Quantum Biology Collective podcast to explain why these drugs—which remain among the top three most prescribed in the U.S—not only do nothing for the primary prevention of heart disease but, for most people, do more harm than good. The mass overprescription of statins is based on a misunderstanding of the role cholesterol plays in the body, a misguided correlation between LDL and heart disease, flawed metrics and propaganda.

    Today, Dr. Francisco explains what we’re getting wrong about metabolic syndrome and how having a stroke at age 41 led him to first question the traditional medical paradigm. He discusses how many of the symptoms we associate with poor diet are just as much if not more a case of circadian misalignment. He shares stories of clients who have healed many of these symptoms.   • EP 106: Your Body Has The Answers: Learning To Listen To The Language of The Nervous System

    “They’re chasing the tail of self-development but they don’t realize that it’s survival stress and stored trauma that they’re managing all the time,” says Irene Lyon, pioneer in somatic and nervous system work, about the many “functionally frozen” people who attempt to engage in healing modalities while ignoring the foundational issue. On today’s episode of the Quantum Biology Collective podcast, Irene explains that when we experience trauma and adverse childhood experiences (ACE), and fail to release them physically—the way all other animals do in nature—they remain trapped in our autonomic nervous system. This is the basis of a myriad of chronic diseases, biomechanical issues, and dysfunctional behaviors. Until these baseline issues are addressed, healing modalities—namely meditation—remain ineffective and can actually cause far worse problems by bringing trauma to the surface and evoking the body’s original panic response.

    By following our impulses, practicing self-regulation and living in closer alignment with nature, we can not only heal our trauma and open untold vistas of potential, but, being quantum beings, change the course of others, including those in the future and past generations.
