Great ramble through some old favorites
I wasn't sure what to expect, but what I got were a lot of laughs and a lot of insights to a really cool book series. The podcasters are a delight to listen to and have a lot of fun talking about what are clearly some of their favorite books, or sometimes maybe not their favorite books, but still doing them all justice. I wish I had found this podcast to survive the pandemic with, it would have given me laughter in a dark time. But I'm getting them now so I guess that's a fair trade. I don't always agree with everything that is said, but it's always giving me something to think about in a new way. I just finished the first 100 episodes and am looking forward to many more.

Anyone who thinks it’s ethically wrong…
…to take food to your neighbor…” …needs to not be allowed to post anything, because they do not understand what being a real neighbor means. If someone brings you food, even if you’re allergic to EVERYTHING in the known multiverse, you thank them for being NICE.
I might not agree with every word said on this podcast, but so what? On that issue, you’re spot-on. Also, anyone bringing a control-obsessed person some food is going the extra 1.625 km, as that takes extra friendliness AND neighborliness!
Lot of liness-ness here. Appreciate your reading these, because my Scrooge’s self resents paying Audible for monotone performances from persons believing “speaking nasally” creates 20 different characters based solely on nasal blockage of varying sizes.
I’m also now terrified of the idea of a thousand magpies showing up at my door, particularly if they’re caroling. I do, however, wonder whether there’s a triangle-shaped banana. Or a banana-scented triangle?
