  • SouthLake Christian Academy is a Christian school in which we continually see God’s hand shape our existence. But why are we here in the first place? What is our purpose beyond educating our students to be successful in the world around us. Today we celebrate the darkest day in human history that gave way to the bright hope of eternity. Today is Good Friday, a special day Christians set aside where we reflect on Christ's death on a cross to pay the penalty for our sins. Read along in scripture with me as we discover why it was necessary for Jesus to die, and exalt in the love and grace that Jesus showed us in the fulfillment of this requirement. This is why we are here. This is why we do what we do.
