  • Today I’m joined by Dr. Anna Glezer, MD and we are talking all about how to stay in top mental health as a fertility patient. Fertility patients know that treatment feels like being on a roller coaster. It's a time that can be full of optimism and disappointment, and because it can feel isolating, I include "Therapist" in my foundations of building your own Fertility TEAM (Therapist, Eating healthy and Exercise, Acupuncture, Mindfulness and Meditation are the basics). I love that Dr. Glezer explains how to approach the whole picture of mental health: getting support, taking good care of yourself, getting enough sleep, finding someone to talk to, eating well, doing some physical activity, and finding an integrative psychologist to work with if that feels right.

    As you'll hear her say, "For anyone who's listening, who might be having a little bit of a hard time with their emotional and psychological health: you're not alone. This is really common. And you should absolutely reach out to get the help that you need."
