  • Harry Taylor & Amanda Laine: The Hot, The Cold and The Breath
    Jun 8 2021

Inward Breathwork – 25% Lifetime Discount & 7 Day Free Trial Discount Code: VG25 https://www.inwardbreathwork.com/

Amanda and Harry were just meant to do this. Together they are creating a transformative business which includes the sauna, the cold and breath work. Hearing Amanda discuss how they turned their idea into a business driven by an overriding mission to build up each other and build up other people is amazing. Then Boom, they landed in the sauna, the hot sauna and the zero-degree cold tub. We go into detail around the program and the mental and physical benefits of the hot and cold. The inward breath work platform is great for people who struggle with meditation. Breath is force. The idea came about organically, grew out of covid, and is now a large and growing membership platform with weekly, quarterly and yearly options. Humans are stressed. Life runs at an incredibly fast pace and the idea of calming the mind and settling down can be hard for many. I couldn't agree more with what Harry had to say, ‘We're not living in our bodies, were just living way too much in our head’. The themes that run throughout are so potent. The sense of community and science, meets spirituality, connecting with nature, swearing in ceremony. This episode really resonated with me and I really think you're on to something. This will be big. Enjoy Harry and Amanda.

    Apr 27 2021
Roslyn McLarty always knew she wanted to be an entrepreneur, the trigger to her life as an entrepreneur came like most good ideas from a personal pain point, a need for a sports media platform that spoke to women today. Roslyn is the co-founder of a rapidly growing sports media brand ‘The GIST’ creating sports content for women by women and empowering underserved sports fans. Everyone wants to be a part of the watercooler chat, for many women, sports can feel like a boys club, exclusionary and intimidating, generally male dominated. Here are a couple stats. Less than 14 percent of sports journalists are female. Less than four percent of sports media coverage is on female athletes, and less than two percent of C Suite executives in major sports leagues are women. Sports is one of our social currencies bringing people together, The GIST strives to make sports more inclusive, relatable and funny, making something that can be intimidating into something fun and approachable for brands. It's an interesting opportunity to align with the growing and interesting demographic and audience. We cover some great topics and have a wonderful conversation. • Debra Jasper: Plain Words are Easily Understood
    Apr 13 2021
The brain science tells us that the average professional has an eight second attention span, we’re more distracted, more distant and more distressed than ever before. And guess what? It's harder for distressed people to listen and learn. How we communicate is more important than ever, but we often communicate to impress rather than inform. As professionals, we should be designing for attention, our scarcest resource. Debra Jasper breaks down critical today skills that we could all use, right for action, redesign how we are presenting, S.O.S emails and of course, the Title Slide - The LinkedIn profile in Google Search Result, where she takes great positioning on how you should appear, not what you do. What you love about what you do for your clients. Debra cuts through the fluff, a storytelling master in a can't miss interview.
