And then we have to decide, who will we be to Jesus? Are we willing to deny ourselves, take up our crosses, and follow Him in order to be his disciple?

    Through the miracle of the feeding of the 5,000 and Jesus walking on water we see God at work in our midst. However, the disciples missed the miraculous because they were focused on the mundane. Our job as disciples is to be able to recognize the work of God in our midst and join in!

Our job is to share the good news of God with as many people as we can. There is so much that we learn from the farmer in this parable about how we do this well. We also have the responsibility to ask ourselves, "what kind of soil am I?".

  • The Healer Named Jesus

    We all need this healer named Jesus to show up in our lives and heal the brokenness we face. Healing is both an individual and communal process. In the story of the man with leprosy, Jesus healed the leper because of his faith that Jesus had the power to heal. However, in the story of the paralytic, Jesus healed the man because of his friends great faith in Jesus. Jesus heals us individually and through the power of our community. We all are called to respond to this healer in faith!
