  • The Greatest Paradox of All Time (John 1:1-5, 10-12, 14)
    Jan 5 2025
In today's sermon, Rev Dr William Chang urged believers to trust God amidst life's challenges and paradoxes. Embrace humility, acknowledge human limitations, and let faith guide where logic fails. See suffering through the lens of the Cross, knowing God is nearest in trials, accomplishing His good purposes. Prioritise your relationship with Christ above all; view life with spiritual eyes, not human perceptions. Trust His promises, recognise His hidden goodness, and anchor your hope in the eternal glory to come.

  • Clothed in Christ: Living in Love, Peace & Praise (Colossians 3:12-17)
    Dec 29 2024

Pastor Allan Ng’s sermon today challenged us to live out our identity in Christ with intentionality and purpose. Begin each day by asking, “What will we put on?” as we consciously choose to clothe ourselves with Christlike qualities. Remember that as God’s chosen people—set apart, beloved, and called—we are to live lives of love, peace, and praise.

Live in love. Unite with one another in Christ, and forgive as the Lord forgave us. Above all, let us put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.

Live in peace. Embrace the paradox of Christian life: "A Christian is a perfectly free lord of all, subject to none; a Christian is a perfectly dutiful servant of all, subject to all." Let this peace rule in our hearts as we serve and love others.

Live in praise. In all we do, whether in word or deed, let us do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

Let us make it our goal to live every part of our lives for Christ, reflecting His love, peace, and glory in all that we do.

  • Faith, Festive Joy & Fellowship in Christ (Luke 1:39-45)
    Dec 22 2024

In today’s sermon, Pastor Allan Ng reflected on Luke 1:39–45, highlighting the themes of faith, festive joy, and fellowship in Christ. Mary’s faith shows the importance of saying “yes” to God’s call, acting on His Word with trust even when His plans seem daunting. Elizabeth’s joyful response reminds us that true joy comes from recognizing Christ’s presence, a joy that surpasses circumstances and overflows into worship. Their encounter illustrates the beauty of fellowship, where faith is strengthened, and believers encourage one another in God’s promises.

Say “yes” to Jesus, walking in faith, rejoicing in salvation, and embracing the fellowship of the Church as we share the hope of Christ with the world.

  • Preparing the Way for Jesus (Luke 3:1-6)
    Dec 8 2024

In the second week of Advent, we turn to Luke 3:1-6, where John the Baptist is called by God to prepare the way for Jesus. His message of repentance and baptism calls us to acknowledge our sins and prepare our hearts for the coming of the Lord.

John’s mission was not only for his time but for all of history, pointing to the eternal significance of turning toward God.

As we reflect on this season of anticipation, we are reminded that we, too, are called to make straight paths for Christ in our lives, preparing for His arrival with genuine repentance and a readiness to receive the knowledge of salvation.
