It’s almost Thanksgiving in Sunny Cove, and Sammy Baker has much to be thankful for, including a new raisin pie recipe that the customers at Just Like Grandma’s love. But after talking with her friend Rob, who’s interested in helping the homeless, Sammy realizes there are people out there who need her help. She teams together with other residents to find a solution.

Courtney Cain’s life is turned upside down when she loses her job at a prestigious ad agency and finds out her own fiancé was the one who let her go. She’s ready for a change, and when she finds an opening at the Curly Bay Pet Hotel and Rescue, it seems like the perfect fit. Until a prize winning Pom disappears on the very first day and Courtney is in the firing line! The finger is pointed at her, and she has to get to the bottom of the case before her life is turned upside down once again.

Summer is in full bloom, and so is Sammy’s baking with her new experiment of hummingbird cakes. But the quiet town of Sunny Cove is thrown into chaos once again when the clerk at the Gas ‘n’ Guzzle is found dead behind the building. Sammy wants to help, as usual, but the situation is made even more complicated by the fact that her ex-husband has suddenly shown up in town, and he’s the prime suspect!

Sammy and Rob are particularly excited about this since one of the main issues Montgomery wants to address is homelessness. They’ve been trying so hard to get funds for a shelter, and this might be just what they need. But when Stephen Montgomery is sabotaged along every step of the campaign trail, Sammy begins to think this is about more than just politics.

Finding a body in an alleyway when you are grounded is not a good idea. Especially if you are the town’s usual suspect for any mischief or mayhem. Teen rebel Lucas Krymanski is in trouble again, and this time, it’s big time! Only the town’s amateur sleuth librarian Kelly Armello believes Lucas is innocent. She even fears there’s darker schemes afoot - hidden and horrible conspiracies seething below the surface.

It’s been a while since Miss Molly Gertrude Grey and Dora Brightside had a mystery to solve, and it is beginning to eat at Molly Gertrude. The elderly amateur sleuth is bored and begging for something to get her detective teeth into. The answer to Molly's prayers come sailing in when they are asked to plan the wedding of the son of wealthy scientist Mace Brick on a paradise island in the Indian ocean.

With the help of Officer Troy Kennedy and a few other unlikely characters, the Settler Spring sleuths set out to unravel this grisly groundhog affair!

It’s almost Christmas, and Courtney is trying to come up with great ways to promote the shelter. Through a lucky connection, she gets the chance to bring the adoptable pets to the local news station to be on TV!

Not only have mice overrun Curly Bay Pet Hotel and Rescue, her clients are cancelling left, right, and center because they want to enroll the services of a famous pet-stylist setting up shop in the town.

Courtney Cain can’t believe that a former police dog has just been dropped off at the Curly Bay Pet Hotel and Rescue. Grieving Gunnar isn’t interested in working with anyone else following Officer Walter Cheatham's demise, and now it’s Courtney’s job to find him a new home.

Courtney is delighted that the Curly Bay Pet Hotel and Rescue finally has a full-time volunteer in Ms. O’Donnell’s friend Linda. But Linda quickly proves to be more of a hindrance, and perhaps something even more heinous. Courtney is certain she witnesses Linda committing murder. The police insist she has a rock-solid alibi, but Courtney knows there must be more going on.

Wealthy tycoon Albert Gravel, lifeless and blue-faced on the floor after eating the Crystal Grill Restaurant’s fish special. The Grill owner has every reason to want him dead but protests his innocence. Something smells fishy! Calmhaven’s favorite amateur sleuth, Molly Montague Grey, sniffs something even more suspicious than the fish special at play. Followed by an eager reporter looking for a scoop, the Gravel case quickly uncovers Calmhaven’s dark underbelly!

Grandma Emily, the unwitting amateur sleuth, stumbles into another troubling crime at the craft fair. Inspired by her arty granddaughters to share her love of yarn, clay, and beads with the whole world, the last thing she expects is a mystery to unravel right before her eyes! Armed with her quick wit and sharp eye the unassuming senior quickly crafts a plan to uncover the motive for murder in what seems like a peaceful community.

The Curly Bay locals swear that winter’s going to be a cold one, but Courtney is warmed by the thought of a Books and Barks charity event at the local library. That is, until the donation money takes a walk, and the prime suspect ends up dead!

Courtney thinks she might finally be able to give the Curly Bay Pet Hotel and Rescue the true makeover it deserves when she hears about a community development project that’s holding a contest, but when a body turns up, she can’t help but get to the bottom of it one more time! A community development project fills Courtney with visions of expansion. If she can just find the time to put together a good presentation, she’ll be able to help many more cats and dogs in Curly Bay. But she also has some stiff competition with the proposed new community center in town.

Courtney is always happy to take on new volunteers, and she’s thrilled to take on a high school student named Mason. He’s not too thrilled about the idea at first, but things change for him once he realizes how important the shelter work is. Soon enough, he’s even getting the shelter involved at football games! Courtney is so happy, but an unexpected death puts a big damper on all the great PR that Mason has helped bring in. Courtney doesn’t know how, but she’ll have to find a way to prove that Mason and Rosie the shelter dog are innocent.
