The Northfield Saga

The action-packed thriller follows the life of Mark Northfield, operating as a lone mercenary employed by a shadowy organization. His only comfort is the memory of his dead wife, and he lives by two final promises to her: never let go of life, and never let the world turn him into someone worse than the man she married. When a vengeful adversary blackmails Northfield into an assassination mission, his hope of keeping both vows shatters. If he refuses to complete the mission, he faces execution. He must either accept his death or corrupt himself.

Mark Northfield has lost track of time. The days, the weeks, and the months blend together while he sits in the Network’s dank prison. After the detonation of Zeus’s Mercy, the Network’s secret device, the city is rid of the toxic gas that plagued its citizens for a decade. Yet, the death and destruction seem far from over.

Mark Northfield and Geralt Salb have escaped New Medea with Stormrise, but they are far from unscathed. Geralt Salb has received grievous injuries, and his life hangs in the balance. General Arkland is determined to destroy Stormrise and he is willing to use every tool at his disposal. He fights not merely with guns. He also employs psychological warfare. If he drives the populace to apathy, then Stormrise will have no power. Mark Northfield hopes for the light, but things only seem to grow darker.
