Publisher's summary

Nikki's new stand-alone paranormal romance.

I was raised by my serial killer father.

I crave connection, but love is not an option. That’s why I’m a “one-and-done” kinda girl. With my terrible secrets, I can't risk getting too close to anyone. So how does super sexy heartthrob Kalev manage to sneak his way into my heart?

Should I take a chance on love?

But Kalev is not the man I think he is. In fact, he’s not a man at all.

Intriguing

Theology is one major character that kept everyone on there toes. When she was young she was treated badly because of things her father did, after his imprisonment there were still others that questioned her loyalty and tested her beliefs.

Loved to hear more!

If you liked the trilogy of books that came first give this a shot as it’s more great stories from Nikki and still narrated by Sarah!

Really great story with an awesome plot twist

I really enjoyed Demon Wolf. The long and dragged out soliloquy’s that make Demon Blessed much longer than it needs to be are not present in Demon Wolf. Thea is a childhood victim of horrible parental abuse from her father, who lives her life in a way that distances her from the insane lunatic her father is. She is afraid of “seeing” stuff and keeps herself medicated to prevent it.
Kalev saw her and his Wolf wanted her, but she was human. He knew it was impossible. So he left her, twice. However, after his life-threatening abduction, he could not stay away. And he pulled out all the stops to have her, no matter how wary she was. Slowly, he gains her trust. But just when he reveals himself, Thea is abducted. She learns a lot about herself in captivity. And she rescues herself. Like the strong woman she is.
How she rescues herself had me sitting up with surprise. I really loved her strong alpha personality and how Kalev knew what she needed.
I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. The narrator still mispronounces some words consistently, but not as much as in the previous set.

Loved it

This series is great and I was glad to see that the “under dog” came out on top and that it was a happy ending.

An Intense, Steamy Listen!

This book is an intense, steamy listen that grabs you from the first words to the last! I listened to this in one sitting and found myself getting irritated when I got interrupted! It's that good. You don't have to read the three books before this one but it would probably help when backstory is mentioned; that said, the story isn't hurt by not reading the series in order. The narration was well done and really added to the listening experience. Sarah Puckett did a great job with the voices and inflicting emotion when appropriate but not overly so. Overall, a really enjoyable listen I feel is worth your time.

Just as fantastic as the other books

I loved the first 3 books, and this one was no different. I'm a huge fan of the series. The story-line was so good! I couldn't stop listening to this. I had to know what happened to Theology!

I would recommend this book and the rest of them to any paranormal romance lover

Khalev finds his mate!

Khalev has known who his mate is for a long time. He has felt it to his very core. But she shows no signs of being any type of magic. Which means he could kill her.

Thea a.k.a. Theology Jones was raised by a preacher who abused her. She found out some things about him, and had them removed from her memory so that anything magic made her ill. She grew up thinking she was mentally unstable. She has painted pictures of the Beast Lord and his mate, the Jugulo who took her memories, and even Khalev... all from what she believes nightmares.

This book has so much happening! I enjoyed this entire series, and was glad Khalev got a story of his own!! It’s such a great story.

Sarah Puckett is so good at what she does!!

Entertaining

I thought the story was unique and the book well written. As a lover of eroticism, I was hoping the scenes would have a bit more detail, but the chemistry was definitely there. I wish the narration was dual. I loved her voice, but her male voice sounds just like her female voice. It was hard to distinguish who was speaking throughout. Even with that, I was thoroughly entertained and finished it in a day!

Always improving

This next book in the serie turns for a totally new character, though the writing style and overall feeling is mostly the same.
The narrator is different from the first 3 books, which helps a lot is separating the characters wile at the same time keeps the same tone of the serie.
In the beginning this seams like a completely independent story of a woman with a problematic past that is courted by her fated mate werewolf, but bit by bit we get to understand how this all connects with the previous books and characters.
This one is a very good story with an interesting plot and amazing new characters, and I can see Nikki Sex writing qualities improving with every new book.
I'm curious about the rest of the serie and if there will be more interaction between all the characters in the series.
This book is a real standalone, but it would be more interesting if you could read the books of the serie in order.

Brilliant ending to a fantastic series

Demon Wolf is an amazing story of lies, deception, sadness, a maniacal father who sets his daughter up for crimes she didn’t commit, while concealing his own deviant behavior, and the man who helped her find her way out of the chaos her life had become.
I loved the way this author tied this series together more loose ends are unraveled.
Sarah Puckett again narrated this story and brought this characters to life.
