Publisher's summary

New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Tina Folsom presents: Venice, Italy - early 1800s.

Viola has been given three months to live but she refuses to die a virgin. She travels to Venice where she wants to experience physical pleasure with a man without causing a scandal for her family. Afterward, she plans to take her own life to ensure she exits the world painlessly and with dignity. Unfortunately, the man she meets in a disreputable club couldn't be a worse choice for her plans.

Dante, a hedonistic vampire, saves Viola from a violent rake. To stop her from seeking out even more dangerous men to find carnal pleasures, he offers her a night of passion in his arms, only to discover she's a virgin. Viola flees, disdainful of the sex act and determined to end her life. Horrified, Dante stops Viola from harming herself and proceeds to deliver the pleasure he promised - one kiss and one touch at a time until she's ready to take all of him, over and over again. Then events force Dante's hand....

a bit disappointing

I lost interest in this story early on. It was ok..it's not one that I would come back to. I did not care for the character of Dante and the love making scenes were lacking in intensity.I also think that it should have been read by someone who sounded younger

Great story!

Great story and nice follow-up to the first story. I really enjoyed reading how Dante fell for Viola, especially after the hell he gave his brother. Viola and Dante are a nice couple and I enjoyed reading their story. Well done to the author.
The narrator did a really nice job bringing the character further to life.

Too much sex, not enough plot

Too much sex, not enough plot. Certainly doesn't inspire me to go back and pick up the first in the series, nor seek the rest.

Better than book one

This was better than book one. Still steamy love scenes although not as hot as book one but the narration was better and the storyline better.
