A Dark Shining Story!!!

Once again J R Ward lures you into her vampire world in a seemingly effortless way..you are instantly engaged and left wanting more!!! This is the 6th book in her Brotherhood Series and delivers Phury & Cormia's. This story is somewhat dark and reels you in until the end and trust me the end comes all to soon!! So far she neatly sets up each new storyline for her next book in her most current novel. If you have not experienced J R Ward's vampire world I highly recommend each and every installment of this series. I really like the narrator even though there is not much difference between female and male voices...I hope he continues with the series...have purchased each and every title in series, all are amazing, well worth the credit.

Phury is stupid

Phury is just as damaged as Zadist was... Worse I think actually... The best story is between Qhuinn Blay and John...

OKay

I love this series I didn't like this book as much as I liked the previous once. Phury has sacrificed himself for the good of the race, becoming the male responsible for keeping the Brotherhood's bloodlines alive. Problem was Phury sacrificed his self for everyone he cutoff his own foot to safe his Twin Zsadist from the mistress who enslaved him he agreed to be the Primale of the Chosen, because V fell in love with Jane and didn't want to do it. What I dislike the most about this book was the self loathing that Phury went never seeing the good in him self never believing that he was good enough it got old and tiring to the point that I had to stop listening to it at times. I liked Cormia who was the Chosen first mate she was willing to do what she had to do for the good of her race, but she didn't have her own mind and she wanted to be her own person. I liked the fact that she learned to speak up for herself and I liked her friendship with John. I did like the fact that this book had a lot of things going on Blay told Qhinn how he felt, Qhinn cut Lashes throat when he attacked John in the shower although John stood up for him self. Phury OD on heroin from the wait of all the things on his shoulders, which was a good thing because it made him self things different. For me this book would have been a lot better if the author would have pulled back on some of the self loathing. I was also glad that Torh was found. I look forward to reading or listening to the rest of this series.

AHHH PHURY!!

Phury really drove me crazy in here, as he deals with his addiction and his obligation as Primale, and he just continues to make things worse! In his past he has always put others first before himself, and he has suffered for it all his life. As he confronts his first chosen, Cormia, he is in such a destructive state, not to mention dealing with this strange voice in his head, that he doesn't see what is in front of him. I really enjoyed Cormia and her personality the most I think! Phury brings her over from the other side, and while she adjusts to a new way of life, she puts Phury in his place and isn't afraid to take chances.

This book made me frustrated a lot, as Phury kept making bad decision after bad decision, which I guess is to be expecting considering everything he has been through. The ending, however, made up for it and the other story lines were good too! While this wasn't a favorite, it is still worth listening to!

Entertaining Book.

I really liked this book. It is a worthy successor to the Black Dagger Brotherhood. Worth a listen. I can’t wait to listen to the next book in this fantastic series. Five Fangs on this one.

A bit of a slower read

I love love the series but rereading or should I say listening I remembered this one was a bit dragged out when I first read it. I know most will disagree because of the love for the series. At times I was just thinking get on with it already. Still a very good book and a must reas because he is one of the BDB. also was also great rereading the series to makeup potential new story lines in my head. One in particular I’m hoping will happen is between Darius & John. Fingers crossed 🤞🏼

Lover Enshrined

Loved it. Very hot and steamy. Some harsh language thru out the series and some graphic killing scenes, but if that does not bother you I recommend the series.

A review from a Romance Lover!

love this series!!! it has all the action and eternal love you would want from a paranormal romance. I have read many other series in the same janra but I keep coming back to reread All the books again. love J.R Wards writing and the way that you become invested in charters, from book to book, you get the scope of how large the world is that she has created and it is truly amazing.
