Publisher's summary

Beware the Bogeymen.

Monsters are real. I’ve seen them. Felt them. Fled from them. Fifteen years later and I still have nightmares of the things that used to live under my bed - the diabolical ringleader with fiery red eyes who brought his friends to torment me. Crazy and unhinged, but nothing compared to the one with blazing yellow eyes who pretended to be my friend. And the worst of them all, the one with lucent green eyes, who was silent but always watching, waiting to strike.

I traveled halfway around the world to outrun my demons. My last memory of them is their taunting laughter filling my ears. Except they’re waiting for me. Forced to return home to help my dying father, I have nowhere to hide. My monsters won’t leave me alone unless I give them what they want.

They’re hungry - starving - but now that I’m grown up, they don’t want to eat me. They want to breed me. Fifteen years ago, I wanted nothing more than to escape them. But now a part of me wants to join them - submit to them. Will I ever vanquish my night terrors, or will I just become another notch on their bedpost?

Monsters Under My Bed is book one in the Bogeymen series. Monsters in My Bed and Monsters from My Bed will complete the trilogy.

omg 😍

Holly Molly I absolutely love this book and could not stop listening to it! when it got to the part in the book to where Elijah started to narrate, let's just say I was not expecting that. AJ Leavitt did a really great job as well. definitely recommend listening to this book!

So hot!

I love this book and getting to hear it was even better. The only thing I have to say is I really hope M.J. can find a different female narrator for the next one. This chic is the worst narrator ever, it was almost hard to get through it because of her, which really ruins the story. The male was amazing and his voice so hot for these three monsters. Can’t wait for the next book

Monsters Under My Bed is amazing

The Narrated did such an outstanding job bring this story to life in every way possible and I could not stop listening to this audiobook. they did such a wonderful job making you feel like you where right their with the characters, I highly recommend checking this out and everyone will enjoy it

As a teenager Lexie befriended the monsters under her bed, she thought they would never hurt her but she was wrong. It’s been 12 years since the incident that sent Lexie running from her home in Texas all the way to Australia. Although the monsters still haunt her nightmares she managed to escape their grasp. When her father is taken critically ill she reluctantly returns home vowing to find answers about what happened all those years ago. She soon finds herself dragged in to the darkness coming face to face with her monsters.

Filled with secrets and suspense, the plot is interesting and there are a few twists to keep us on our toes. There is good world building, with focus on story over steam. Lexie is not my favourite FMC but the potential is there so hopefully she improves in the next book. The pictures are 🔥🔥 and deserve and extra special mention.

This was disappointing for me

I love the book this was a reread for me. But I can’t listen to the narrators. I don’t normally have issues with narrators but something about her fake southern accent and the way he sometimes talks normal and others it sounds like he’s talking and they tried to make it sound like he’s growling the whole time it kept taking me out of the story… it’s no offense to the narrators just personal preference 🤷🏼‍♀️
