Violet is a typical, down-on-her-luck millennial: mid-twenties, over-educated and drowning in debt, on the verge of moving into her parents' basement. When a lifeline appears in the form of a very unconventional job in neighboring Cambric Creek, she has no choice but to grab at it with both hands.

Hands-on work with minotaurs isn't something Violet ever considered as a career option, but she's determined to turn the opportunity into a reversal of fortune.

When a stern, deep-voiced client begins to specially request her for his sessions at the farm, maintaining her professionalism and keeping him out of her dreams is easier said than done. Violet is resolved to make a dent in her student loans and afford name-brand orange juice, and a one-sided crush on an out-of-her-league minotaur is not a part of her plan—unless her feelings aren't so one-sided after all.

Took me forever to start this but I literally devoured this story. I am eager and excited to continue this series!

The performance was fine. Maybe this isn’t the genre for me. The plot was really shallow, but I can see if people like this genre they would enjoy the series.

I thought this would be very cringe and weird, but I actually really enjoyed it! Very adorable slow burn romance.

Not a typical read for me. The narrator did a good job for providing each character - including minor side characters -their own voic. However the character's fantasies got old after awhile. Nothing really happens in this story so if you want smut this is your book. There are cute moments but I like character development and worldbuilding which this did lack.

I was very prepared for this to be a wtf am I reading, and I'll admit on a few size descriptions I literally "what did she say" "how" "omg you can't be serious" but this book was freaking awesome.

I'm definitely a little embarrassed by my love of this book, while I've read some questionable books I've never fallen in love.

There is a huge amount of sexy bits but the actual story from Violet, I just adored her. Honestly the only thing that could have made this any better would be hearing from Rourke himself.

So if your even remotely open to this give it a read, I don't think you'll regret it.

If you think you know what This book is about… no you don’t. Every chapter had my jaw on the floor in full shock. The MMC is pure green flag-golden retriever with a very dominant hand. The MFC is so relatable and a bit sassy.

There’s an overhanging theme of interspecies dating and the judgement that comes from that.
