Alan Lewis is a Managing Director and Partner in L.E.K. Consulting's Boston office and co-leads Edge Strategy™ services at L.E.K. He focuses on the consumer sector where he specializes in helping companies globally in finding new growth, designing customer experience, new products and services, implementing growth initiatives and organizational change. Alan was selected as a winner of a TOP 25 Consultants Award in 2016 by Consulting Magazine. Alan co-authored “Edge Strategy: A New Mindset for Profitable Growth,” with Harvard Business Review Press. The book lays out a practical framework for finding new growth opportunities that is applicable to companies across all industries. He has also authored many white papers on topics including innovation, digital technology and social media, and his thought leadership has been featured in many publications, broadcasts and press articles such as Bloomberg, Forbes, Yahoo Finance, Inc.com, HBR, Skift, and Travel Weekly. Prior to joining L.E.K.'s London office in 2003, Alan spent five years with chemicals multinationals Imperial Chemical Industries PLC and INEOS. Alan received a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University College Dublin. He is qualified as a professional engineer with the Institute of Chemical Engineers in the U.K. and holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Cambridge.
