Anna is a memoirist who writes about her experiences and adventures growing up a third-culture Eurasian girl in the suburbs of Boston to being a 28-year expatriate woman in Hong Kong, Singapore and Cape Town. She writes her stories of childhood as well as life as a single parent of three teenagers, both short and long form, with accountability, compassion, curiosity, honesty, as well as a good dose humor. Part of that being debating the use of that word without the second "u". Wherever she writes from, she is considered "foreign". Much of her writing tackles the challenges and stigma of being the odd women out and her road to learning to accept that a sense of belonging and identity can only come from within.
