Anna R. Albright was born in Houston, Texas, in May of 1990. From the beginning of her life, she was enamored with animals and nature. From the guidance of her grandparents and family, her love for the outdoors and delightful furry things led to adventures all over the Gulf Coast and Texas. She was an FFA member in high school, showed, and trained horses through college at Sam Houston State University. There, she studied Interdisciplinary Agriculture with a double minor in Secondary Education and Equine Science. She has been teaching high school agricultural education for five years in the same school district she grew up in. She wrote her first short story in first grade (a horror mystery, of course) and spent many days at home "sick" watching National Geographic. A self-professed literary lover, she enjoys reading a wide variety of subjects from mystery, horror, novels and novellas, nonfiction, historical fiction, and fantasy, to name a few. Her debut book, 50 Things to Know About Backyard Chickens, was released on Amazon in 2019. Albright lives in Texas with her husband, four dogs, two cats, and ten hens.
