Ashlee Boyson is the author of the blog and book series “The Moments We Stand” where she shares her family's journey of healing after the infidelity and murder of her husband Emmett in 2011, just months after giving birth to their fifth baby. Ashlee has shared Emmett’s story on Dateline, Dr. Phil, American Monster, Investigation Discovery, True Crime Daily, and several other murder mystery documentaries. Ashlee advocates for victims and families impacted by loss, grief, widowhood, murder, and infidelity. She founded A Reason to Stand—a nonprofit focused on healing and empowering survivors. She’s also continues to help others through online courses, public speaking, personal coaching, and—of course—writing. Ashlee remarried Scott Boyson, together have two babies, totaling seven kids, ages two to eighteen.
