As an authority in the music business, multi-platinum recording artist and author Aulsondro “Novelist” Hamilton aka Emcee N.I.C.E. is a 30 year music industry veteran, who first landed on the Billboard Charts in 1994 with Latin rap group a Lighter Shade of Brown and subsequently would go on to achieve multiple No. 1 records on the Billboard Charts as an independent. As a recording artist, with the group KansasCali, N.I.C.E. would also appear on 8 motion picture soundtracks, the notables include Crash (won the Oscar for “Best Picture”), Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Haven and Kickin’ It Old Skool. He is a Stellar Awards Winner, a 9 time Spin Awards winner, a 3 time Gospel Hip Hop Awards winner and has appeared on the ballots of the Grammys and the Dove Awards. He is also the co-creator of the first African-American animated music series to appear on Netflix called “Da Jammies”. As a producer, he co-produced Tupac, Nas, K-Ci Haley, Aaron Hall and has notable records with Fred Hammond, Dairus McCrary, Stacey Dash, Domino, and Bishop Cortez-Vaughn. As Emcee N.I.C.E. works on his 10th studio recording he is also touring all over the globe facilitating master classes pertaining to all facets of the music business. As a former VP of Head Start Music Group distributed through WMG and UMG. He is well qualified to not only speak on what it is to be a recording artist but understands artist development and what it takes to run a label.
