Betsy Painter is an author and conservation biologist, who is passionate about environmental care and its faith-based dimensions. She studied religion and ecology for her masters at Yale with a focus on the natural world in the redemptive biblical narrative and its implications for environmental hope today. On the ecology side, Betsy's research interests include wetlands ecology, and she enjoys salt marsh escapades and plankton microscopy. She attends an Anglican/Episcopal church and frequents Catholic and Orthodox churches with a passion for ecumenical dialogue about creation care and its role in fostering unity within the global church.
