Bonnie O'Neill was born in Spokane, Washington. Married at the age of 21, in 1977, and is still married to that same wonderful man, Shawn. The day after the wedding they hit the road with his band and traveled extensively for about 15 years. The first seven years they didn't even have an apartment. It was an interesting time. She actually started her writing journey on a manual typewriter while hanging out in the bus during long tours. Now, many years later, she lives in the wilds of Baja with Shawn and their 4 cats. They have a lot of irons in the fire trying to keep beans and rice on the table, and cat chow for the kitties. Bonnie and Shawn started BajaPeaceWear in 2008 when they both rediscovered their love of sewing, crocheting, and jewelry making -- yes, Shawn makes the jewelry. Music still fills their lives and Bonnie swears that someday she'll write about those years on the road. Until then, she plans on doing several more volumes of Peaceful Tales. Bonnie is excited to announce that Peaceful Tales Vol.2 is now available on Kindle. It is another three stories that should put you to sleep before you even reach the end of the first one. Volume 2 has a deeper spiritual aspect. We're not talking religion – just something touching more on the unseen; the intangible - looking behind the curtain at the mysteries of life and the possible alternative realities of existence. Not too many authors want to say that their book will "Put you to sleep." "But", she says, "that's the whole point". She is so pleased and proud that the first volume has done so well. Bonnie is proud that Peaceful Tales Vol.1, and just recently Peaceful Tales Vol.2, are available on audio through Amazon and iTunes. The audio books are a labor of love that took more than a year each to finish. Bonnie does the narration and Shawn did the recording, editing, and mastering. There are not a lot of husbands who would be willing to sit and listen to their wife's voice over and over and over again. What a guy :-)
