Brad Center lives and works in Fairfax, Virginia with his wife (Valerie) and his son Peter. His older son (Jeremy) also lives in Virginia. He owns an IT consulting firm (Occam Edge Technologies). He has also worked on Capitol Hill and served on the Fairfax County School Board. As a writer he tends to focus his efforts on suspense/horror, speculative and science fiction. He has had short stories published in magazines like The New Accelerator, MetaStellar, and Pyschotoxin Press, and flash-fiction/poetry published in journals like Potato Soup. Short stories from Brad will be appearing in two upcoming horror anthologies – Dark Corners of the Old Dominion and Land of 10,000 Nightmares. In addition to the Unspeakable Heart of the Mangroves, Brad has a book of short stories called Blurring the Lines.
