Catherine McGreevy grew up in countries including France, Spain, and Morocco, where she learned to love reading, traveling, and history. She writes intelligent, exciting novels with a dash of adventure and romance, like those of the authors who influenced her most: Mary Stewart, Elizabeth Peters, Phyllis Whitney and Georgette Heyer. Now a resident of Northern California's historic gold country, Catherine writes suspense and historical novels with just a touch of romance, including The Jewelry Case, The Gardener's Tale. Chance's Bluff, and A Place Called New Hope. She has also written award-winning screenplays and is active in several writers' organizations, including Sisters in Crime, the California Writers Club, and Northern California Publishers and Writers.
