Clemmie Palmer, III, MD is a psychiatrist who practices primarily in Alabama and also does telepsychiatry in California, Florida, and Georgia. He earned a medical degree from the University of Alabama in 1994 and completed a residency in general psychiatry in 1998. Dr. Palmer’s years of clinical work led him to pursue a theological education. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Hood Theological Seminary in 2016. Review from Dr. John Campbell, Clinical Psychologist, Ordained Local Deacon, African Methodist Episcopal Church, Lt. Col USAFR (Retired), Montgomery, Alabama. “I have known Dr. Palmer as a uniquely gifted, compassionate, friend, scholar, physician, psychiatrist and professional colleague for over twenty years. Naturally, I was thrilled to learn that he had heeded the “divine call” to enhance his psychiatric practice with formal seminary training. Collaborating and consulting with him has immeasurably enriched my life both professionally and personally. Additionally, I continue to be moved by the eagerness that prompts select individuals (familiar with me as a mental health professional) to spontaneously share examples of how working with Dr. Palmer dramatically exceeded their expectations. Providentially, with the upcoming publication of his book, “God, the World, and Me, A Look at Diverse Views of Scripture From the Bible: From the Perspective of a Psychiatrist”, even more lives can benefit from the wisdom, knowledge and understanding of the human conditions revealed by Dr. Palmer’s work. Thank you “Dr. P.” for your commitment to “run the race that was set before you” and for this wonderful resource and gift. From the Publisher, LJM Publishing: Review from Jan Myers, CEO, LJM Publishing, LLC: As a Christian myself, it has been a joy to work with Clemmie on this book. His message and writing are clear, often entertaining, and as I read each word, I was moved to a clearer understanding of my own perceptions and feelings of the Gospels and my gratitude for the atonement offered each of us through Christ. Clemmie's favorite scripture says it all: 2 Corinthians 5:21 (NLT) For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. I hope readers will find the same solace in reading this book as I did. It is an honor to publish it.
