Born in County Louth, Ireland in 1968, Cornelius moved to London in 1987 to pursue a career in acting. He lived in a squat in Hackney during the first couple of years in England, whilst working as a larourer on a building site by day and writing plays by night. After forming his own theatre company, with which he toured schools and fringe venues in London, he found work as an actor with other companies, then TV and film. He had a starring role in the Irish comedy, Holy Water, which was seen by at least 3 people, one of whom was himself. He still acts and writes and We are but Shadows is his first venture in the world of the ebook.
