Born in California and raised in West Virginia, D. K. Mamula is a talented writer, singer and lyricist who has been writing short stories and poems since childhood. She holds two Certificates in Applied Science—one in Secretarial Science as a Correspondence Specialist and the second in Business Management. She currently works as an administrative assistant. Her first novel, entitled Legacy -- a story about David, a singer, and Casey, a dancer, who embark on a whirlwind journey filled with music, romance and love -- was self-published in August of 2015 and is available in print and Kindle versions. The audio book edition of Legacy was released in the summer of 2017 and is available through Amazon, iTunes and Audible.com. Her next foray into the world of fiction was a two-part series whose main character finds fame and fortune, only to vanish at the height of superstardom. 15 MINUTES: Book One was published in March of 2019; 15 MINUTES: Book Two was released just over a year later, in June of 2020. Both are available in print and Kindle editions. In addition, she has self-published two other books. Scenarios: Inspiring Practice Exercises for Aspiring Writers (June 2016) is a workbook intended to help budding writers practice writing. I Wrote These: A Collection of Poetry and Prose (September 2016) showcases some of D.K.'s original poems and writings. The audio book version of this title is also available through Amazon.com, iTunes and Audible.com. Being that she has a very vivid and continuously active imagination, D. K. has another novel in the editing stages, and she is currently working on a second book of poetry and prose. All of D. K. Mamula's books are available worldwide through Amazon and Kindle, or you can order them through your favorite local book retailer.
